About the Course

What we’ll explore

🤝 In partnership with

Christians teach that there is only one God. They also confess that this one God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—a Trinity. To many critics, that sounds self-contradictory. Even Christians sometimes wonder how these claims fit together, especially since the word "Trinity" never appears in the Bible and the doctrine was not formally defined until centuries after Jesus' death.

So why has the doctrine of the Trinity become central to Christian faith?

This course explores the biblical foundations, historical development, and theological significance of the Trinity. Together, we'll consider how the church came to confess God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, why this doctrine has endured for centuries, and what it means for Christian faith, worship, and life today.
